Here's some "downloadables" contributed by LOGO
pilots:
Dana says: ...behaves like mine, in terms of flat out climb from
hover to say 100 feet, roll, pitch, inertia, etc. Since I've
never seen a real logo 20 in action, that will have to wait.
Set the governor(radio adj %) to approx 1750/1800 RPM, and
use the 600 mm blades. I know it's not the exact machine
spec, but it's closer to the actual performance the Logo 10
delivers. I suspect it's because of the differences in the
physics, which are set up for slimers, the software
expecting a very narrow torque band or something.. This one
also runs for about 8 Minutes, which is a bit long, but
imagine you are using my ultra metal 3000's, which are
really spiffy, and do run for that period. Mike offers this model to try.... Put the "Foiler" file
in the "ColorSchemes" folder and the other 3 files in the
"Planes" folder. Says Mike, "The soft start of the ESC is
not soft enough, and the motor sound just above 0 RPM
is strange. It is based on the Foiler 60. Some of the
specifications don't match the LOGO20 exactly, but often
Realflight G2 model's specifications are for flight realism,
not exact physical duplication. It flys, looks, and sounds
pretty good." I don't agree with all that's written here as being
necessary (for instance only 2 motor mounting bolts are
necessary), but I figured that free "constructive" press is
a good policy;) Thanks, Don! Danal Estes contributed this spreadsheet that allows easy
estimation of Headspeeds for a Logo 10's various
Motor/Battery/Pinion combinations. It is Logo10 specific
only in that it comes preloaded with all currently available
Pinions for a Logo 10 and many possible Logo 10 motors. It
allows you to easily add your own motors. The spreadsheet
requires Microsoft Excel; opening directly in the browser
requires Internet Explorer. In either case, you may get a
security popup regarding macros - Answer "Yes" or "OK" to
enable macros. If you prefer not to enable macros, the
spreadsheet will still work - see the "Instructions" tab in
the spreadsheet for details. Danal Estes created a photo gallery with large and
detailed close ups of his Logo 10. There are galleries for
Stock, the lower frame mod to carry LiPos, and various
Fans/Heatsink combinations. If you're on dial-up, these will
require some patience; there are thumbnails for all
galleries... and they start here:
