2005 News from Mikado

Mikado has finally released the LOGO 10 3-D (updated version) for worldwide distribution, instead of North America only. Also the rotor head has been redesigned to better accomodate 3-D setups - the LLS, or Long Lever System, represents a significant redesign of the rotor head.

LOGO 10 - 3D

Already a great success in North America, the 3D-version of the LOGO 10 is now being introduced worldwide. The 2005 edition features all the latest technology from the Mikado design team, such as a completely redesigned rotor head, a new canopy with optimal aerodynamic properties, and 3D stabilizers.

Notable Features:

• Very slim aerodynamic canopy

• New rotor head with long lever system (LLS)

• Reinforced blade grips

• Thrust bearing set

• 8 mm spindle shaft

• Stabilizer control bridge with metal balls

• Flybar and head linkages from stainless steel

• Light weight 3D stabilizer paddles

• 120° eCCPM Aluminium swashplate

• Hollow 10 mm main rotor shaft

• Autorotation hub

• Fully ball-raced

• 3D horizontal and vertical stabilizers

Rotor Head with Long Lever System (LLS)

Electric modellers have a whole new dimension of flying available through the latest lithium polymer battery technology. Mikado's new and improved rotor head, which is offered for all LOGO models, enables pilots to make full use of these boundless possibilities.

A central role in this is played by the new mixing arms, which allow for adjusting the mixing ratio to suit individual needs. The cyclic and collective travel is increased by 40 percent when compared to the previous arms, while the travel of the servo arms is unchanged. For swashplate control, servo arms of standard length may now be used - without any loss of control movement.

In addition, these new mixing arms are subject to very small amounts of tilt, significantly increasing precision in transmitting the control commands, especially with large cyclic and collective control commands.

For every LOGO model, suitable upgrade sets for the rotor head are available. They also include a new and improved lever for the washout.
